Preaching never justifies trespassing or breaching the peace

The ends do not justify the means. God never wants us to do wrong in order to do right. God would never do wrong, even to save a soul.

Trespassing” is when you enter or remain on somebody else’s property without their permission. Even if you had permission to enter, you must leave immediately when you have been asked to leave. “Harassment” is when your actions impede somebody from freely going about his own business. A “nuisance” is created when you impose a disturbance upon somebody’s nearby private property even if you are using public property. The right to engage in Free Speech does not include the right to trespass or to engage in harassment or to create a nuisance. Free speech includes the right to preach in the public space, but like every right it must be exercised reasonably within the bounds of the law.

The authorities may not place content restrictions upon what we preach, but they do have the right to impose reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions that equally apply to everyone in order to prevent some people from oppressing the rights of others to also reasonably use the public space.

You must have a clear conscience that your conduct is unreproachable.

If you are using the public space, during normal hours, without impeding anyone, and are speaking loudly without using any electronic amplification device, are not creating a disruptive nuisance that affects those on near-by private property, and are not slandering or threatening anyone, then go ahead and preach everything God put on your heart to say. In this context you are in the right to stand your ground confidently against anybody who opposes you, and you have the right to use self-defence against anyone that would harm you.

This Australian wacko ‘pastor’ Logan Robertson from Steven Anderson’s so-called “new IFB” baptist cult appears to have trespassed and threatened people on Mosque property in an unseemly and indefensible manner.

Nobody is going to sympathize with him, even if they agree with his message, because he is acting like a deranged nutcase and imposing upon the rights of the people at the mosque to enjoy peace and quite on their own property and going to and from their own religious services.

[By the way, whether or not Mohamed had sex with his 9 year old wife is irrelevant to the invalidity of Islam. Nothing in the Bible sets a minimum age for marriage either, and, regardless, plenty of the men of God in the Bible also had moral failings. Robertson is a lousy preacher and an unthinking hot-head like his mentor Steven Anderson, who also gets into trouble for resisting the lawful authorities. These type of men bring the gospel into disrepute. So much bad-fruit tells us what kind of tree we are dealing with.]
