24 Kings of “Israel”

#1 Moses reigned over Israel for 40 years.

” Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob. And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.” Deut 33:4-5

#2 Saul reigned 40 years.

#3 David reigned 40 years.

#4 Solomon reigned 40 years.

After that the Rehoboam was rejected by the 10 tribes of Israel who made Jeroboam their king.

Jesus Christ is king #24 for both Israel and Judah.

” And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” Luke 1:31-33

Twenty-four is also the number of elders who surround God’s throne in heaven:

” And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.” Rev 4:4

The first 4 kings who each reigned 40 years, Moses, Saul, David, and Solomon, match the 4 coming antichrists in type.

Moses: Priest – false prophet (Pope)(Gospel of John: Eagle)
Saul: King – first beast (UK)(Gospel of Matthew: King)
David: General/Man – Gog beast (Russia)(Gospel of Luke: Man)
Solomon: Riches – Babylon (USA)(Gospel of Mark: Ox)

The Kingdoms

There are 2 kingdoms, Israel and Judah:

2 Samuel 3:10 “To translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beer–sheba.”

The northern kingdom was called “Israel” and was taken away:

1 Kings 11:31 “And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:”

1 Kings 11:37-39 “And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according to all that thy soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel. 38 And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee. 39 And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.”

The Kingdom of Israel to cease:

Hosea 1:4 “And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.”

The Kingdom of the line of Judah cursed:

Jeremiah 22:28-30 “Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not? 29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD. 30 Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.”

So the Kingdoms of Israel (750 BC) and Judah (606 BC) both taken by the Gentiles:

Lamentations 2:9 “Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.”

The vision of the time of the reigning Gentile Kingdoms was given to the King of Babylon and interpreted by Daniel:

Daniel 2:44-45 “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.”

Jesus was born to be the King of the Jews:

Matthew 2:2 “Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”

Luke 1:31-33 “And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

Satan alleged that the power and glory of the world’s kingdoms had been delivered to him:

Luke 4:5-6 “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.”

Jesus said he would restore the kingdom of Israel:

Luke 22:30 “That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

His kingdom would include Gentiles:

John 10:16 “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”

Matthew 8:11-12 “And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

John 11:51-52 “And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; 52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.”

The disciples asked him when:

Acts 1:6 “When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?”

Jesus said he was King of the Jews, but  his kingdom was not yet of this world:

Mark 15:2 “And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it.”

John 18:33-34 “Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? 34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?”

John 18:35-37 “Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? 36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”

The Jews rejected their King, choosing instead Caesar and Barabbas:

John 19:14-15 “And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Cæsar.”

Matthew 27:20-23 “But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. 21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas. 22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. 23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.”

John 18:39-40 “But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews? 40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.”

The Jews accepted the guilt:

Matthew 27:25 “Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.”

Jesus will rule over the Jews with fury poured out:

Ezekiel 20:33-38 “¶ As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you: 34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. 35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. 36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD. 37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: 38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.”

Psalms 65:5 “By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:”

And over the Gentiles:

Psalms 98:2-3 “The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. 3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.”

Isaiah 52:9-10 “¶ Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. 10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.”

Acts 13:46-47 “Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. 47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.”

Isaiah 49:5-7 “¶ And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. 6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. 7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.”

The Kingdoms (plural) of this world all belong to Jesus Christ:

Revelation 11:15 “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 ¶ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

And we shall reign with him forever:

Daniel 7:27 “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”

Revelation 1:5-7 “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”

And not just on Earth, but over the entire universe:

Colossians 1:16-20 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.”

Ephesians 1:20-23 “Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”

And Christ’s enemies shall perish:

Luke 19:27 “But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.”

Psalms 2:9-12 “Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. 10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”

Christ Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords:

Acts 5:31 “Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.”

Galatians 6:15-16 “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. 16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.”

1 Timothy 6:14-16 “That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.”

Revelation 17:14 “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

Leave the Jews alone

If something is wrong in the world it doesn’t mean you are entitled to fix it. The need is not the call.

” And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God.” 2 Chronicles 26:18

Some nuts presume the devil can be shooed away with noise and indignant commands like an unwanted stray. This backfires. Sin invited the devil in to begin with, and unrepentant and self-willed attempts to drive him out only grants him a greater foothold.

” Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” Jude 1:8-9

The devil may have fallen, but he remains an anointed cherub.

“Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.” Ezekiel 28:14-15

” For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” Romans 11:29

Samuel anointed David when the kingdom was taken away from King Saul, yet David refused to take the crown away his successor by killing him because he too was the Lord’s anointed.

” And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD’S anointed, and be guiltless? David said furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish. The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the LORD’S anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.” 1 Samuel 26:9-11

Although the eventual death of King Saul made his own kingdom secure, yet David himself took vengeance on the one who killed Saul because he had harmed the Lord’s anointed.

” And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD’S anointed? And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died. And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’S anointed.” 2 Samuel 1:14-16

One must be guiltless and in God’s mercy to prevail against enemies with plausible claims to the rights that we would sack. Otherwise, our presumption is sin, and God will let our enemies escape to abase our pride.

Spiritual warfare is winning the case for our victory in the courts of heaven first so that then success on earth will follow. It entails repentance, setting aside pride, pleading the blood of Christ for forgiveness and mercy, purging ourselves of sin, yielding our will to God’s perfect will, pure motives, doing first things first, doing right, patience, perseverance, intercessions, fasting, joining hands, and whatever else the Holy Spirit enjoins for us to do.

” For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

” Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

” Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5

Like the devil, the Jews before they fell occupied the first position. Their talents were designed to glorify God, but they abused them. Like the devil, the Jews have not lost any of their endowed blessings, but retain them … with curses and corruption.

” Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.” Exodus 36:1

” But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

” If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.” Malachi 2:2-3

God’s plan eventually comes around full circle. One day the devil will be destroyed and all the blessings of his kingdom will be robbed and redeployed by Jesus Christ to the glory of God, as originally intended. In the meantime, the devil is a useful tool for wrath and temptation, accomplishing God’s mysterious purposes of trial, purification, and testing of the children of God. Likewise with the Jew. Their 12 tribes were endowed with destructive powers that have been used in God’s providence for the polishing of the Christian nations of Europe to the glory of God by Jesus Christ.

” And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants. And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” Genesis 50:18-20

Don’t blame the Jews for exploiting our weaknesses, that’s their job: nation wrecking: doing God service by bringing us low on account of our own sins. Our cure is not found in the futility of screaming rebukes at blind Jews for their greed and corruption, but rather our national repentance and a revival of true Bible-Christianity.

” And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” 1 Chronicles 16:20-22

” The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name. Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.” Jeremiah 51:19-23

There is a time and place for asking the Jews to leave a nation (with a corresponding reduction in the nation’s wealth and power), but that’s not easy to accomplish in a just manner without incurring condemnation before God.

” All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.” Jeremiah 50:7

” Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 2:3

” But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;” Obadiah 1:12-13

The evangelical superstition of treating the Jews like a luck rabbit’s foot –  bless them and you will be blessed back – is, of course, ridiculous idolatry. The “I will bless them that bless thee” promise to Abraham in Genesis 12:3 applies to Gentiles who are in Jesus Christ:

” That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:14

” Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” Revelation 3:9

Regarding the nation of Israel the best advice to the nations is this: mind your own knitting and leave them alone because they are God’s problem, not ours:

” And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.” Genesis 31:24

” And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all. But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?” Numbers 23:25-26

” And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:3

National sin invites the wrath of God, and he has loosed the instruments of his wrath – the devils and the Jews – against us. Cursing them is futile – they are permitted by God to do what they do.

” Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.” Isaiah 54:16

” Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” Deuteronomy 9:5

Repentance, returning to Jesus Christ, and to the Bible, that is the answer for us one and all.

” We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.” Isaiah 59:11-15

But that isn’t going to happen, and so the Tribulation is about to be unleashed. During that time Israel will be crucified as a nation. But a handful of rare Jews will survive, a few meek survivors that God will pity, as King David pitied lame Mephibosheth (2 Sam 9:10-13) and as King Evil-Merodach pitied blind Jehoiachin (2 Kings 25:27-30).

” Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7

” When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.” Psalms 76:9

” And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.” Zechariah 9:16

” Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.” Zechariah 8:7-8

” In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.” Micah 4:6-7

” Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.” Nahum 1:12

” I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD. The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.” Zephaniah 3:12-13

The time-frame for the Tribulation is the same.

Year 1. The time-frame begins with Christ dinning with Lazarus who was raised from the dead – which signifies that the tribulation begins with the rapture of the Church out of this world. (John 12:1).

Year 2. The “triumphal entry” corresponds to the white-horse king of Revelation 6:2 who goes forth fighting World War 3 to establish world government.

Year 3. The victory of the USA/UK/UN against Russia and Iran in World War 3 results in a seven year “world peace treaty” that allows apostate Jews, the Vatican, and the Freemasons to take Jerusalem away from Israel and build there an ecumenical Temple belonging to the United Nations. This counterfeits what Jesus did on day 3 cleansing the temple area by driving out the money changers.

Year 4, Year 5, Year 6. Jesus taught in the temple on these days – showing that the Temple will operate for a couple of years. However, Jesus finds no fruit on the fig tree day 3 and it is cursed and withered day 4 – showing that the Jewish nation fails to turn to God or direct the nations to God, despite their re-built temple. The Jews are betrayed, the world government seeks to take the temple away from them and dedicate it to the worship of Satan.

Year 7 – With the abomination of desolation, the Great Tribulation starts, and World War 4.

Year 8 – Great Tribulation

Year 9 – Great Tribulation

Year 10 – Great Tribulation comes to an end at Armageddon in Israel with the Return of Jesus Christ with his Church, the rescue of the elect (5 wise virgins), and the resurrection of the saints who were killed during the tribulation.

So the life of Christ and the life of the nation of Israel correspond prophetically.

In Joshua chapter 17 a certain Levite was hired by a man named Michah to be his personal priest over the graven image he had made. Later, in  chapter 18, the priest got recruited by the tribe of Dan to be their priest and father – and he took the graven image along with him.

Another instance is found in 2 Kings 17:26 where the Samaritans where transplanted into northern Israel and the LORD sent mountain lions to attack them. The Assyrians sent a Jewish priest to teach them the manner of the God of the land to stop the attacks. The priest taught them that they should fear the LORD, but they then had an ad-hoc religious jumble, serving both their old gods and the LORD:

Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt. … So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places. They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence. … So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.” 2 Kings 17:29~41.

Someone has compiled research (Rev. Arimasa Kubo, author of “Lost Tribes of Japan) showing interesting similarities between “Shinto” – the native folk religion of Japan – and the worship of the true God as found in the Bible. This lead the researcher to conjuncture that the Japanese may be a “lost tribe” of Jews. Read the rest of this entry »

4 Antichrists

The expression the “four horsemen of the apocalypse” is so well-known it has become a cliche – yet the concept is exactly equal to  “four antichrists” – yet that concept is anathema to all the so-called prophecy experts.

The four horsemen are indeed four antichrists.

Here are a selection of articles from my prior postings:

4 antichrists

4 antichrists

There are 4 antichrists and a 10 year long tribulation!

It commonly held by all the “prophecy experts” that there is just 1 antichrist and that the tribulation will only be 7 years long.

These 100+ year-old concepts are woefully incomplete and are tainted by the work of Bible-correctors (those that change the AV text).

Obviously there are at least 2 antichrists – the 1st and 2nd beasts of Revelation. One is a political ruler and the second is the false prophet.

And yet since the first horsemen in Revelation 6 is an antichrist – who are the other 3 riders? Obviously they are 3 more antichrists!

This gives us a total of 4 antichrists (e.g., note all the sets of four in Proverbs 30).

Tribulation is 10 years long.

And on what basis is the assumption made that Daniel’s final 70th week (of seven years) define the limit of the tribulation? Obviously a 7 year peace treaty must be signed after a great war, and the first antichrist in Rev 6 goes forth to war, not to peace.

We know the length of the tribulation must be ten years long since Revelation 2:10 says so!

Ten years gives time for:

  1. World War 3, followed by
  2. Peace and a Temple, followed by
  3. World War 4.

With a 10 year tribulation we now have room for Daniel’s enigmatic 2,300 days as well.

There are 4 antichrists !

Their nations are known today in international affairs as the “Quartet” and all are guilty before God for their involvement in dividing up the land of Israel.

“Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
… These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”
Zechariah 1:18-19.

1. White Horse Rider.

Antichrist King

First Beast: the Antichrist King

The first beast is the Antichrist acting an imitation of Christ the King (as Jesus is portrayed in St. Matthew’s Gospel). He rides the white horse in Revelation 6 and his nation is the United Kingdom’s Lion in Daniel 7. Also known as the “raiser of taxes” (Daniel 11:20).

As white horse rider and bow-man he will seem to the eyes of the world as the anticipated return of “Jesus Christ” in type; he successfully engages in WW3 against the Mohamedans and Infidels and wins world-peace. It will seem that the tribulation is all over right when the tribulation really begins (the great tribulation is only 3.5 years long – but it comes at the end of the 10 year tribulation).

He rules the world during the first 3+ years of the 10 year tribulation; leads the “four winds” UN invasion of Iran – and thereafter establishes world-government, world taxes, universal peace, and builds the ecumenical Jerusalem Temple described in Ezekiel 8 (day 6-6-5, right before 6-6-6 shows up). His rule is cut short suddenly some how – and yet he is “reanimated” as the 2nd beast’s puppet.

2. Pale Horse Rider: Death & Hell.

False Prophet Antichrist

Second Beast: False Prophet Antichrist

The second beast will imitate Christ’s divinity and priesthood (as Jesus is portrayed in St. John’s Gospel). He rides the fourth pale horse in Revelation 6 corresponding to the fourth creature in Daniel 7 (i.e., evidently a united nations or European union). Also known as “a vile person” (Daniel 11:21) and “that Wicked” (2 Thessalonians 2:8).

The pale colour horse rides with death and hell – i.e., underworld entities. This false-prophet is the anti-Pope of the new ecumenical “Catholic” world religion; however that he will ride with (or be) a second-coming of Judas Iscariot is a theory that can’t be overlooked.

Once the first beast is incapacitated/injured – he becomes the “cat’s paw” – this false prophet beast become the real power behind the throne. He goes into the built Temple at about year 7 in the 10 year tribulation – about 3 years after it is built – and declares himself to be “God” and engages in luciferian blood sacrifices at the Temple Mount – that’s when the Great tribulation commences. That is the time Jesus Christ warned the Jews about – telling them to flee the city. The False Prophet and the first beast are thrown into a lake of fie when Christ returns (Revelation 19).

3. Red Horse Rider.

The Assyrian: “Gog” Antichrist

“Gog” is the Red horse of Revelation 6 and the Russian Bear of Daniel 7; he is a military general who rules 4 world-zones (i.e., Russia, plus 3 others, viz., the three ribs in the bear’s mouth, also shown as the three horns he plucks up); he imitates Christ as a man’s man (corresponding to the theme of St. Luke’s gospel, Christ as a man, in anti-type). Also known as “little horn” (Daniel 8:9).

The colour red and his sword (Rev. 6) associates him being bloody – – and with Esau, Edom, and with the Idumean Herods who slew the children in Bethlehem. See also, “O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.” Isaiah 10:5.

Gog is the anticipated antichrist that the Jews are expecting – the “King of the North” (Daniel 8). The Russian-Persian-Chinese forces under his command waste and destroy the land of Israel without mercy. Gog’s allies battle back and forth against the USA and the UK throughout the last 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation. In a nuclear exchange at the end they destroy the USA, but are 5/6 destroyed themselves (Ezekiel 39:2). The 1/6 that survive go into the Millennium and repopulate in the Earth (but are purged once again at the Millennium’s end – Revelation 20:8).

4. Black Horse Rider.

Black Horse Antichrist: Mystery Babylon

Black Horse Antichrist: Mystery Babylon

The black horse rider imitates Christ as a servant of God and steward of all his wealth (imitating Mark’s Gospel which portrays Christ as servant). Also known as “the great voice” (Jeremiah 51:55). The symbolic animal in Daniel 7 is described as a leopard with 4 wings. Because the UK is the lion, the leopard is used for the USA, a type of lion – “a baby-l’on,” if you will (i.e., the daughter of the UK). The leopard is white and yellow with black spots (European, Indian/Hispanic, and Negro).

Of course, the USA has been occupying the old Babylon in Iraq since the gulf war, and is currently building the “Freedom Tower” in NYC, but any other proof that USA is Babylon? How about “USA city” and “USA name” stated in the Bible:

“And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:4 (Building the Tower of Babylon).

The USA is also called “King of the South” by the same line that runs from Israel to Moscow. That line goes north to Russia the “King of the North” and if you keep going north you pass the pole and are going south again — and then you run right into the USA at Alaska. Hence the USA is “King of the South” (and “king’s daughter of the south”) – terms relevant for deciphering Daniel chapter 11 which describes in detail the tribulation fighting between the US/UK and Russia/China.

The USA is “Mystery Babylon” and is totally destroyed as an continuing entity –  the “beast’s body” is given to the flames, but the other kingdoms survive. It is destroyed by Gog (Ezekiel 38-39) and by natural disasters (Jeremiah 50-51, Revelation 17-18). The Jews are commanded to get out of the USA and return to Israel (“come  out of her my people” Rev. 18:4).

Look for Fours.

The word “antichrists” (plural) shows up 1 time, and the word “antichrist” shows up only 4 times:

  1. 1 John 2:18 “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”
  2. 1 John 2:22 “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”
  3. 1 John 4:3 “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”
  4. 2 John 1:7 “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.”

Since there are 4 types and 4 beasts, we might be able to assign the types of antichrist spirits to the 4 systems:

Masonic (King); Catholic (Pope); Atheistic (Gog); and Mohamedian (Servant).

So the significance of fours given throughout the Bible will have their correspondence in the 4 antichrists because they are attempting to imitate and manufacture a counterfeit of God’s coming kingdom – and that “city four-square” (Psalm 48:2, Rev. 20-21). That leaves the devil as the 5th – at the top of the four-sided pyramid (or so he would hope, Isaiah 14:13-14).

So corresponding to the four gospel types, Satan’s four antichrists must mimic the four beasts who surround God’s throne in Revelation 4:7 — a lion (UK king), a calf (US servant), a man (Gog), a flying eagle (Anti-Pope).

Polycephaly = too many heads.

Jesus said, “… Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? … ” Luke 11:17-18.

This was a rhetorical question, of course, to point out the absurdity of the Jews’ accusation that Jesus Christ was casting out devils by the devil, a rather improbable and self-defeating exercise.

Go left! … No, we go right!

However, the devil’s kingdom won’t stand, will it? So Christ’s statement wasn’t as rhetorical as it seems at first glance. Satan is not going to have a kingdom that stands, therefore it is divided.

The devil’s incurable dis-unity is explained by the fact that he is a 7 headed dragon: “behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Revelation 12:3.

It has 4 major divisions – each headed up by an antichrist – with 3 heads ruling three kingdoms (UK, USA, UN), and the other 4 heads govern Gog’s 4 kingdoms (Russia, China, Iran, +1).

How tragic for the devil to be afflicted with 7 most arrogant heads in all of creation to have to share 1 body! What a hot-bed for rivalry, suspicion, envy, jealousy, confusion, and bitterness!  To achieve greatness for their 1 body it requires coordination by the 7 heads – but how do 7 supreme egotists share and compromise and work together ?? Which one gets the glory? Which one eats first? Which one wins? Do they share their prize?!?

It’s a doomed effort.

However in Christ we have ONE HEAD! “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:” Ephesians 4:15; “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:18, etc.

First Antichrist.

“Sermon and Deeds of the Antichrist” by Luca Signorelli (1499-1502)

An interesting end-times viewpoint is held by certain Roman Catholics that matches with the White Horse Rider of Revelation chapter 6 – who is the first Antichrist. These Catholic commentators envision a coming Catholic king who conquers the Moslem world and Israel and ushers in a brief time of world peace.

These prophesies are set-up in such a way as to have the Roman Catholics accept the first antichrist as if he were a good ruler.

From Wikipedia:

He is said to be a future king of a re-united Holy Roman Empire, who will restore the European Catholic royalty in the West, destroy the power of heretics and atheistic rebels, and successfully convert many Muslims and Jews to the Roman Catholic faith.[1] The Great Monarch was very popular in popular folklore until the 18th century Enlightenment. He reappeared in 19th century prophecy when French legitimists believed that the count of Chambord, Henry V of France would be the new king.

Here is a summary of these ideas found in the preface of the book “The Coming Chastisement” by Yves Dupont (1970):

This description of the so-called “Great Catholic Monarch” actually matches the white horse rider of Revelation 6 who does have great success and does indeed bring in world-peace.

Yet later he somehow becomes incapacitated, however, and the other antichrist, the false prophet Pope, makes an image/robot of this first antichrist, and then reigns by proxy – as described in Revelation chapter 13 and other passages in the Old Testament.

It is significant that this king is the lion king of Daniel 7 and therefore English – for the mouth of the beast is a lion’s mouth.

The birth year of Prince Charles was 1948, which is significant as the year the United Nations and modern Israel came into existence. Jesus Christ said, “And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.” Luke 21:29-30.

It is interesting that Prince Harry was born in 1984 – exactly 200 years after the briefly lunatic King George the III of England signed the Treaty of Paris, ceding away his sovereignty over the United States. Daniel 7:4 we read, “The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.”

I gave an exposition of this on youtube that I will have to re-state in a later post, but suffice to say for now, chapter 6 gives the clues to understanding the vision because eagles feathers represent the passage of time with no power due to insanity, as Nebuchadnezzar experienced. To have the wings plucked and get a man’s heart back means the return of power after the time has passed – the grown feathers on two wings representing many years – I believe two centuries. King George III, due to insanity, lost a very great realm in the year 1784 when he himself personally signed the Treaty of Paris – but exactly 200 years later was born to him a descendant lion king who would restore it – for in the vision he get the heart of a man given to him (i.e., the opposite of being given a beast’s heart like Daniel 6). I believe that this is the interpretation.

The year 1984 is significant as the year the USA established formal ties with the Vatican See, and as the year the Pope performed a superstitious ritual to officially consecrate Russia to the “Sacred Heart of Mary” – a part of the Fatima visions which Catholics have taken very seriously as a supposed requirement for the “conversion” of Orthodox Russia.

So we have in the year 1984 a potentially significant convergence of the 4 antichrists – a UK (white horse of a king born, perhaps), The USA (black horse), The Vatican (pale horse), and Russia (red horse).

Prince Harry at Madame Tussauds in LondonWax Image: Future King of the North American Union??

Prince Harry’s good looks and red-hair and height and military background are all quite remarkable – and the monarchists of Canada have taken note. Presently Queen Elizabeth is also “Queen of Canada” and also holds that title over all the individual Commonwealth states. Prince William is destined (eventually) to be King of England – but what about Canada? The Canadian monarchists are asking that they be given their own king so they can have their own royal family – and have proposed the younger brother Harry. (“Make Prince Harry our king, say Canadian monarchists”)

If that happens it, is VERY interesting because of NAFTA and the on-going possibility or proposal (an alleged “conspiracy theory” but in reality a very real scheme that is an open-secret) of a merger of the United States and Canada into the North American Union.

If that happens – then who will our King be? Wouldn’t the King of Canada become the King of all America? Of course he would. ”Rex 84” ?!?

This is all very interesting.

All mankind will be forced to worship a world-dictator during the tribulation:

“And it was given unto him [the beast] to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:7-8.

This character’s prominence has led to the conclusion that there is only one antichrist. However a careful examination of scripture reveals that there are four major personalities on the world’s stage during the tribulation.

The cautious practice of not assuming all scriptural similarities have the exact same application is called “rightly diving,” taken from 2 Timothy 2:15: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” It is by rightly dividing that we conclude that “the antichrist” is really four different persons.

The Biblical description for these four men is “beasts” – however that term can also signify each of their political realms. When scripture specifies that the beast arises from the earth – it is an antichrist; but when the beast arises from the sea, it is a kingdom. Therefore we will refer to the four beast-men as the “antichrists.”

Coincidently the word “antichrist” appears just four times in the Authorized Version, and the plural word “antichrists” just once:

  1. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1 John 2:18
  2. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22
  3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1 John 4:3
  4. For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7

The term obviously primarily describes religious heretics who deny the Lord Jesus Christ – but each of these passages could also be referring to one of the four antichrists – and this would be direct scriptural support for the claim that just four antichrists will arise.
the beasts lion bear leopard daniel antichrists NWOThe four antichrists are already popularly known as the “four horsemen of the apocalypse.” Each one is described in Revelation chapter 6 as a rider upon a white, red, black, or pale horse.

Modern expositors (premillennial) do not fail to identify the first rider on the white horse as antichrist; however they then spiritualize the remaining three horsemen as representations for tribulation events. This interpretation is inconsistent because it does not treat each horseman in the same manner. If we agree that the first rider on the white horse is an antichrist, then the other three are also antichrists.

The same four antichrists are also depicted in Daniel chapter 7 as four beasts – a lion, a bear, a leopard, and a “dreadful” beast.

Daniel’s four beasts are one and the same as Revelation’s four horses, and they appear in exactly the same order:

#………………………….. DANIEL 7…………………….. REVELATION 6
First AC……………….. Lion…………………………. White Horse
Second AC……………….. Bear…………………………….. Red Horse
Third AC……………….. Leopard………………………….. Black Horse
Fourth AC……………….. Dreadful Beast……………………………. Pale Horse

In both cases the animals represent both the antichrist and his political realm. World government will involve the political union of their four kingdoms together, as described by the amalgamated beast from the sea in Revelation 13:2 with body parts from all four animals – lion’s mouth; bear’s legs; leopard’s body; and dragon’s seat:

“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” Revelation 13:2.

The prophet Hosea spiritually designated these same four animals as forces God would send to oppose the Jews in Israel:

“Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them: I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.” Hosea 13:6-7.

Therefore it is likely that these are also the same as the four horns of Zechariah 1:18-19, “Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

In the Messianic twenty second psalm it states, “Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.” Psalm 22:21.

A lion’s mouth has four prominent front canine teeth which bite into its prey – two above and two below.
antichrist horns “Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.” Psalm 22:21.

The 4 “horns” in the Lion’s mouth

The verse likens the horns of unicorns to a lion’s teeth (“…your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8). Since a unicorn has only has one horn – there must be four unicorns – one for each incisor. Indeed Christ was crucified by four Roman soldiers: “Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part…” John 19:23.

The three and half years of great tribulation are Israel’s national counter-part to Christ’s crucifixion and three days and nights in the heart of the earth. Assuming a uniform similarity, Israel will suffer at the hands of four antichrists as Jesus Christ suffered at the hands of four soldiers. (Cf. Exodus 27:2).

The foregoing examples establish that the concept of four antichrists is well-founded in the scriptures. Those who describe “the antichrist” are mistakenly assigning to one person diverse attributes that belong to several antichrists.

It takes four biographers to make a complete presentation of Jesus Christ – each supplies a unique perspective. The thematic differences in the four Gospels have been compared to the four faces of the cherubims (Ezekiel 1:10; Revelation 4:7), as follows:

Cherub Type

King of the Jews

No single antichrist could match the incomparable excellence of our Saviour in all these points. To make a convincing satanic counterfeit it requires four personalities – each one being an epitome of one of the perspectives.

Also, it is also necessary to have four antichrists in order to mimic the four beasts around God’s throne and the seven all-seeing eyes of Jesus Christ:

“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” Revelation 5:6.

To exactly match the seven eyes, the devil needs four persons over his satanic government: three with two eyes each – and one with only one eye.

“Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.” Zechariah 11:17.
7 eyes of 4 antichrists beastsThree of the antichrists have two normal eyes, but the fourth only has one good eye: the total number of eyes is seven. By this the devil is seeking to imitate the four beasts and seven eyes around God’s throne in keeping with his urge to be like God:

“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Isaiah 14:13-14.

By surrounding himself with four antichrists, the devil restores himself to his place as number five –the anointed fifth cherub as before his fall. Because it imitates God’s throne, the devil will be immensely satisfied to geometrically arrange his position above exactly four antichrists as if exalted at the top of a four-sided pyramid.

Gospel’s Type

Antichrist Type

No. of Eyes

Matthew: Lion

Royal King

Mark: Calf/Ox

(“Public Servant”)

Luke: Man

A Man’s man
(Military General)

John: Eagle

World’s High Priest

Total: 7

Therefore the concept of four antichrist is not strange to suggest – it is actually quite sensible. They will represent the Kingdom, Might, Power, and Glory of the world system.

The four distinct persons each has many of its “types” anticipated in the scriptures by prominent characters:

  1. King: Solomon King of Israel, Darius/Cyrus Kings of Persia, Hiram King of Tyre.
  2. Politician/Whore: Nimrod, Belshazzar, Pharaoh, Jezebel, Pilate.
  3. General: Goliath, Og the Giant, Rabshakeh the Assyrian, Sisera the Captain.
  4. Priest: Balaam, Cain, Micah’s Priest, Pharaoh’s magicians.

Together they constitute a ruling quartet that mimics the 1 Kingdom, 2 Might, 3 Power, and 4 Glory which will later – in truth – constitute the eternal kingdom of Jesus Christ.
Number 4 = the whole worldFOUR ANTICHRISTS IN SCRIPTURE

In the Bible numbers are often significant, and the number four typically represents the entire world since it is the four directions, North, South, East, and West. Therefore the doctrine of four antichrists corresponds to all the kingdoms of this world (Rev. 11:15).

Although Noah had only three sons, his eldest son is entitled to a double portion – thus allocating a division of four parts to the three races of man. (“… giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.” Dt. 21:17; “God shall enlarge Japheth” Gen. 9:27)

Consider again that it was four Roman soldiers who parted Christ’s clothes, “Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part” John 19:23.

And again, what we already read in Zechariah 1:18-19, “then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

The four horns have in common their involvement in dividing up the land of Israel. It shouldn’t be a surprise then that the “peace process” is led by an international “quartet” (England, Russia, United States, and United Nations).

Proverbs 30 is prophetic (“… even the prophecy: the man spake…” Prov. 30:1). It would appear that chapter 30 prophesies the foolish end-state of the kingdoms of this world, which is contrasted in the next chapter 31 with prophecies of the advent of the reigning bride of Jesus Christ in the wisdom of his kingdom.

Throughout Proverbs chapter 30 it gives the number four a very strong emphasis:

v. 1: …………………………… Four men: Agur, Jakeh, Ithiel, Ucal.
v. 2-3: ……………………….. Four brutish attributes.
v. 5-10: …………………….. Four presumptions: add to God’s words; deny God; take God’s name in vain; accuse God’s servant.
v. 11-14: …………………… Four wicked generations.
v. 15-16: …………………… Four unsatisfied things.
v. 15 & 17: ……………….. Four: 2 horse-leaches and 2 eyes.
v. 19: ………………………… Four slippery movements.
v. 21-22. …………………… Four disquiet the earth.
v. 29-31. …………………… Four: the lion, dog, goat, and king.

This emphasis on four cannot be accidental. It is prophetic and it clearly assigns various elements of foolishness into four distinct groups. Given the indication of four antichrists, we should discern that this chapter describes them and/or their systems.

It is an interesting to consider that when Christ came to the Jewish nation at his first advent, all Old Testament prophecies for the arrival of his kingdom already had their technical fulfilment. Thus John the Baptist’s role had fulfilled the prophesied coming of Elijah if the Jews would accept Christ: “And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.” Matthew 11:14. However, the Jews then rejected Jesus as their Messiah and John the Baptist became a lost opportunity:

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.” Matthew 17:11-12.

This fascinating feature of “contingent fulfilment” would have had to likewise apply to every other prophecy in the Old Testament. Therefore, the conquests of Alexander the Great and the exploits of the Maccabees were only described in passages like Daniel chapter 8 provisionally.

Those events await their future fulfilment yet again. Therefore we can expect the fulfilment of all Bible prophecy to occur prior to the second coming of Jesus Christ. This means that many passages in the book of Daniel (and elsewhere in the Old Testament) have not yet been historically fulfilled – their prophetic significance remains totally intact.

This makes the prophecies of Daniel all the more extraordinary considering they have double application – applying equally to the time of Alexander the Great and to the time of the tribulation – “at the time of the end” (Daniel 8:17). This need for flexibility probably explains Daniel’s copious use of pronouns which make interpretation difficult.

Daniel prophesied, “Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. …And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.” Dan. 8:8, 21.

Although this passage was provisionally fulfilled by Alexander the Great–it also foretells the coming of the first antichrist who sets up a four-part world government on the heels of his leadership of the coalition that invades Iran (Dan. 8:19-22, cf., Jeremiah 49).

As Jesus explained to his disciples, in a parable each item stands for something, “And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? The sower soweth the word.” Mark 4:13-14.

Although each item usually stands for something else, the meaning of some items is literal: “… tares are the children of the wicked one; As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.” Matthew 13:40. In that parable the tares stood for the devil’s children, but the fire is literal.

Therefore understanding a parable entails understanding which items are intended to have alternative meanings, and then perceive what they mean.

Sometimes the name of a nation actually stands for another nation: “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” Revelation 11:8. Thus the city of Jerusalem may be mentioned in some Old Testament passages under a parable name of Sodom or Egypt.

This principle means that the names of famous modern nations may be hidden in the names of various Bible places because the true identity is obscured by a parable:

“And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this! And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever. And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.” Numbers 24:23-25.

Balaam’s references to Chittim, Assur, and Eber wouldn’t have been called a “parable” unless they are spiritual names that stand for other nations.

Combining the preceding two concepts together (contingent fulfilment and spiritual types) is useful to understand the present application of Old Testament prophecies.

Every Old Testament prophetic item that was to accompany the literal rule and reign of Jesus Christ as King of the Jews had a meaning that was contingent to the 1st advent.

These initial meanings would have become the final meanings had the Jews accepted Christ in 30 AD. Since the Jews did not accept Christ at his 1st advent, all Bible prophecy regarding the appearance of the literal Kingdom of Heaven switched to take on 2nd advent meanings.

All initial fulfilments (if applicable) can serve as spiritual types for ultimate fulfilments associated with the 2nd advent.

Thus as John the Baptist was a contingent fulfilment of the coming of Elijah, even so John’s life becomes a spiritual type for what will happen to Elijah during the tribulation, including martyrdom (cf., Mark 6:25 and Rev. 11:7-11).

Likewise any historic nations provisionally identified in Old Testament prophecy for 1st advent fulfilment may become spiritual precursors for ultimate 2nd advent fulfilment by modern nations.

The Scofield Bible’s section headings for Daniel chapter 7 interpret the lion as Nebuchadnezzar, the bear as Media-Persia, the leopard as Greece, and the dreadful beast as the Roman Empire. Scofield’s cross-references indicate that he assumed the animals were mentioned in the same manner as the metals in chapter 2 verses 37 to 43. Most dispensational bible commentators agree with this interpretation, but it is incorrect.

The vision in chapter 2 is that of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a great image with a head of gold, breast-arms of silver, thighs of brass, legs of iron, and feet of iron and clay. Daniel interpreted the dream for Nebuchadnezzar as follows:

“And after thee [Babylon] shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee [Persia], and another third kingdom of brass [Greece], which shall bear rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom [Rome] shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.” Daniel 2:39-40 [Historic fulfilment in brackets].

Notice that the statue begins with the Babylonian dynasty as the head of gold, but then mentions kingdoms that “shall arise” after – thus silver is beginning with the next world kingdom of Persia.

Switching to Daniel’s vision in chapter 7, it also occurred during the Kingdom of Babylon as it states in verse 1, “… the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon…” The angel tells Daniel in verse 17 that the interpretation applies only to future kingdoms: “These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.” (7:17).

The expression “shall arise” in 2:39 and 7:17 both introduce the future kingdoms that arise after Babylon, therefore it is obvious that the first beast in chapter 7 cannot be Babylon – it must correspond instead with the silver kingdom that would arise after Babylon, namely Persia.

In the chapter 2 vision, the fourth kingdom has two stages – the first stage is iron legs, and the second stage is of 10 toes mingled with clay: “And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.” Daniel 2:42. This final stage is the last world-government that will form. Therefore although the iron is just the “fourth kingdom” in the chapter 2 vision – it counts as two for the purpose of the chapter 7 vision.

The proper way to align the two visions is as follows:

Chapter 2: Great Metal Statue

Chapter 7: Parade of Beasts

Iron + Clay

Had the Jews accepted Jesus as their Messiah in 30 AD, the last kingdom of the final “dreadful beast” would have formed, the antichrist arisen, and subsequently thereafter the kingdoms of this world would have been defeated by the Lord Jesus Christ.

This obviously did not occur – and the visions were postponed and their 2nd advent significance changed.

The First Advent interpretation of chapters 2 and 7 therefore assigns to its four animals the same meanings as the metals in chapter 2, as follows:

[If the 1st Advent had become final, then Cyrus, Alexander, and Augustus would have fulfilled the roles of the first 3 “antichrists” – and a fourth leader, who was never introduced, would have had to play the role of the final antichrist.]

The legs of iron in the statue of Daniel chapter 2 stand for the Roman Empire. Although it has waned for 2,000 years, the 2nd advent fulfilment of these prophecies must involve modern nations with a heritage in Roman Empire.

Persia, Greece, and Rome (Lion, Bear, and Leopard) stand spiritually for three world superpowers that will unite to form the dreadful beast of final world government.

The four horsemen of the apocalypse demonstrate that the four antichrists will arise in quick succession during the tribulation. This differs considerable from the long period of time over which the 1st advent fulfilments of antichrists occurred. Whereas Persia, Greece, and Rome arose as great powers in succession over many hundreds of years, the 2nd advent timeline is obviously not going to be that long.

Thus the details of the Revelation prophecy could not have been disclosed prior to the 1st Advent because it would have been too specific to have had double application. Once the 1st Advent opportunity had past, then the prophecies in Revelation were ripe to be unveiled.

In Daniel 7:2 the four winds contended over “the great sea” – which was 1st fulfilled in the Aegean Sea over which Persia, Greece, and Rome fought battles and transported armies while contending for supremacy. Although the cross-reference of Daniel 7:2 is the sea in Revelation 13:1, the 2nd advent identification of this “sea” need not be literally the same.

The “great sea” now probably means the Arctic Ocean since the appropriate symbolic place for presiding over the planet is from its literal top spot. It is also where the “four winds of heaven” literally meet together. Also, it is the only sea covered entirely with a sheet of ice, and thus it is the best one to imitate the glassy sea under God’s throne (Revelation 15:2).

The nations surrounding the Arctic Sea are Russia, Canada, Greenland, Norway, and the United States. Canada is a part of the United Kingdom, and Greenland belongs to Denmark, an EU State. A straight line from Jerusalem North runs into Moscow. That same line, after it passes the Pole, goes South to Alaska, USA. This identifies a “King of the North” and a “King of the South” more directly, and with more certainty, than by any other scheme of interpretation.

When all the prophecy details are “rightly divided” and considered together (chart above), it presents an amazingly detailed summary. It would be ridiculous to allege that these are vague predictions with obtuse generalities that they could be made to apply to any world-situation or combination of countries.

Rather, each of the four future antichrists and their kingdoms has a very narrow set of requirements that it must fulfil. The specificity is such that when then they come to pass, it will be undeniable that the Bible was writing history in advance.

Recall that the four beasts stand for both kingdoms and for kings. Beginning with the kingdom application, let’s review how well some likely national candidates meet the Biblical requirements for the four kingdoms of the four antichrists.

In addition to the details above (see chart), all four of them must be deeply involved in Mid-East politics dividing the land of Israel (Zechariah 1:19); and all must border a common “sea” (Daniel 7:2; Rev. 13:1).

  1. Is England the First Kingdom?

Beast #1 must be a prominent monarchy identified with the lion and associated with the colour white. It must have spiritual parallels with ancient Persia and with the metal Silver.

England as Beast No. 1: England is famously known by its mascot the British Lion, which was also an important symbol for ancient Persia. Historically and poetically England is known as “Albion” – meaning white – which is also the colour of its fair-skinned and rosy people. Like Persia under Darius, it was the British who opened Palestine for the return of the Jews (after WW1). The English royal family has enormous prestige and its monarch is the head over a vast world commonwealth with over a billion people; this includes Canada, which borders the Arctic Ocean. English people, like Persians, are known for their etiquette and cultural refinement – and silverware. The British royal family claims descent from King David and its Freemasons are thought to be keen to rebuild the Temple. The United Kingdom is a principal member of the “Mid-East Quartet” that is set to divide up the land of Israel.

[Mythology: The 13th day of each Persian month is named after its mythological god Tishtrya, bringer of rain and fertility, who became a pure white horse to battle against the demon of drought, and succeeded when the chief god, Creator Ahura Mazda, deigned to make offering to the lesser deity.]
2. Is Russia the Second Kingdom?

Beast #2 must be a major Military power identified with the Bear, and associated with the colour Red. It must have spiritual parallels with ancient Greece and with the metal Brass.

the beasts lion bear leopard daniel antichrists NWORussia as the Second Beast: The nation’s famous mascot is the Russian Bear – and it is the nation with the most territory in the Arctic (“bear”) region. Despite the alleged collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia remains a major military superpower. Red was symbolic for communism, and during that era the Soviets were known as the “Reds” – and they remain in a close military alliance with the Red Chinese; the Russian word “krasni” means both “red” and “beautiful” – a play on words that has made the colour red an important part of Russian folk culture (eg., “Red Square” is also “Beautiful Square”). Russia’s Cyrillic Alphabet evolved from Greek letters – and both are famously difficult to read. Russians have the Greek Orthodox religion. St. Petersburg’s famous “Bronze Horseman” monument was erected by Empress Catharine the Great to depict her ancestor Peter the Great – and the poem about it by Pushkin (1833) is considered one of the most significant works of Russian literature (Johnson’s dictionary defines “bronze” as “brass”). For centuries Russian history has been drenched in blood with millions sacrificed to maintain the supremacy of the state over the individual – a mentality not unlike the Greek city-state of Sparta. Russia had a very large Jewish population (now emigrated); Moscow is due North of Jerusalem; and the country is one member in the international “Quartet” that is dividing up the land of Israel.

[The Greek god of war was “Ares” (Mars)- identified with the Red planet. Ares’ chariot was pulled by 4 fiery horses – the first named “Aithon” (Red-fire). ]

The militaristic war-like culture of Russia:

Let noble anger of the soul
Get boiled as a wave.
The people’s war
The holy war”
“WE WILL DESTROY any part of the planet within 15 minutes. … Whole continents will be put to sleep forever. And that’s all.”
“Arise, Russia, from your prison of slavery, Victory’s spirit is called: time to do battle! Rise your battle flags, For Truth, Beauty, and Good.”

3. Is the United States the Third Kingdom?

Beast #3 must be an immense political and financial powerhouse associated with the colour black and with the leopard. It must have spiritual parallels to ancient Rome and to Iron.

Black Horse Antichrist: Mystery Babylon

Black Horse Antichrist: Mystery Babylon

United States as the third Beast? The United States is the world’s undisputed political and financial superpower, a unique historical accomplishment among nations with a large Black population (about 13%). The historic development of the United States’ national wealth can be described in its great Iron accomplishments (tractors, factories, skyscrapers, automobiles, military equipment). It is strong like Iron, the USA overpowers all rivals, particularly its unique “pop” culture that has been greatly influenced by its Black population, the descendants of emancipated slaves. Like ancient Rome, the USA is composed of many nationalities by conquest and immigration – cobbled together into a political union. Also, in Alaska the USA borders the Arctic Sea.

The USA has the world’s largest Jewish population; and it is one-fourth of the Mid-East Quartet dividing up the land of Israel.

Missing element: Where is the Leopard?!?

Discussion: The United States is not identified nationally as “the leopard” – but neither is any other major nation. Some German states use the panther as a mascot – but that is a different animal because it is completely black. A leopard is yellow and white with black spots: “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots?” Jeremiah 13:23. Interestingly, that verse compares leopard-spots to black people.

The USA is a very convincing candidate for all elements of the third beast, except the leopard. Is the leopard a symbolic representation for the USA, rather than a mascot? (i.e., the Leopard is a small lion with spots, as the USA descends from England, but with the addition of a black population). Or could the nation’s choice of black leaders like Obama – or perhaps an unforeseen future news event – suddenly transform the Leopard into the de facto mascot for the USA?

Or perhaps because the Leopard in the vision in Daniel 7 has four heads – it is a spotted-cat mascot that will be chosen for a future four nation federation of USA, Mexico, Cuba, and Canada?

Previously mentioned was an unambiguous method for identifying the King of the South: The line from Jerusalem to Moscow marks Russia as King of the North, and the same line crosses Southward over the North Pole, into Alaska – marking the USA as “King of the South”. Daniel 11:5 says the King of the South will have “dominion” – “And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.” Of the four beasts, of the Leopard alone is it said, “and dominion was given to it.” Daniel 7:6. (cf. Gen. 27:40). This concept of “dominion” apparently matches the Leopard with the King of the South – meaning that both stand for the United States. Certainly the USA has a very great dominion, with a near unipolar political domination over the world.
4. Is the Vatican the Fourth Beast?

Beast # 4 is the world government union (beasts 1,2, and 3); it spiritually is both Rome (“iron”) and many other nations (“clay”); it acts as high priest to the nations.

UN quartet many antichrists 666 mark of the beastThe Vatican as the Fourth Beast? The Protestant Reformers all indicated that the Pope, the High Priest of Roman Catholicism, would be the antichrist, as extensively documented. The pope’s political “Holy See” is positioning itself for a cat-bird seat in the presently coalescing New World Order – particularly as an “observer” in the United Nations – and by concordats (treaties) with the world’s nations. The religion fancies its ruling style like an, “iron fist in a velvet glove” (Iron and clay).

Likely the 4th Beast is the United Nations – headed up by the Vatican.

The 4 Kings of the 4 Kingdoms.

If our identification of the 4 kingdoms is correct, then the 4 antichrists then will be the rulers over these 4 kingdoms:

  1. King of England (more info see here);
  2. Russian Military Leader (“Gog”);
  3. US President;
  4. Head of the United Nations & Pope.

There are many scriptural reasons why there must be 4 antichrists, you can read a summary of them here: 4 antichrists summary (pdf)
