“Young Earth Creationism” is PaganPosted: April 30, 2017
The pagans all believed that the universe started as darkness and chaos and then “evolved” from that into a well-ordered system. This concept arises from fallen man’s positive viewpoint of the natural fallen world that he belongs to; it expresses his hopeful desire of natural steady improvement over time, going onward and upward forever. Fallen man has this view because he has no concept of eternal spiritual things and God outside of time and space; the natural man only knows physical existence.
Of course, this pagan foolishness is total nonsense. Natural things don’t naturally improve, they only get worse over time. Also, the physical universe can’t exist unless first created by a supernatural Creator.
When religious charlatans want to use the Bible to “prove” the pagan viewpoint of origins, they do so by skipping over first verse of the Book of Genesis and pretending that everything starts with verse 2:
” And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:2
Here we find the pre-existence of natural things floating around in a state of chaos, a description which is exactly the same as found in any pagan creation myth.
It’s the starting point where all “Young Earth Creationists” chose to begin, pretending that when God made the universe he began to do so 6,000 years ago with pre-existing matter he found in a state of chaos. This pure 100% unadulterated paganism.
Young Earth Creationism is a pernicious pagan heresy that it is promoted by Bible-denying fools.
The Bible does not start at Genesis 1:2, it starts at Genesis 1:1:
” In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
The correct statement on origins is that the God supernaturally created all things.
In verse 2 things begin with blackness and disorder, but in verse 1 they begin with God, in whom is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).
This is what that first world that God created looked like:
God didn’t create a disordered and dark universe, that came about later because of his wrath and judgment that destroyed that first world:
When the Spirit of God is hovering over the waters covering the entire universe in Genesis 1:2, that was similar to the post-wrath situation pictured in Noah’s day when he released a dove over the waters:
” Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.” Genesis 8:8-9
It incorrect to believe that the entire fossil record comes from the flood of Noah’s day because the earth of old times would have also had plants and animals.
” The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty. I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.” Ezekiel 31:8-9
Similarly as Noah’s ark floated above the waters, the city of New Jerusalem may have first originated as a mountain on the old earth, but it was plucked out and lifted up to heaven when the first flood over the universe and earth occurred.
” Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.” Ezekiel 28:13-16
Jesus said to the Jews, ” And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.” John 8:23. Paul wrote, ” Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” 1 Thessalonians 5:5
Because the naive Young Earth Creationists reject the King James Bible text and have a pagan-oriented view of Genesis that begins by rejecting the historicity and import of Genesis 1:1, their blind minds are naturally limited in understanding the vast scope of what God is doing to carve out our present universe of billions of miles of “outer space” buried in darkness underneath the whole of God’s great heaven above.
The seeds sprout up even though our local sun hasn’t yet begun to shine. Much of the vegetation re-appears from plants that pre-existed, but new plants are also made for the new environment.
These illustrations show that the narrative of Genesis 1 does not just involve our local planet, or even the entire visible universe, but actually the whole entirely of creation, including the third heaven of Day where the New Jerusalem presently awaits.
Once the heavens are re-made again, the dark “sea” barrier will be be no more, the glorified city of New Jerusalem will return to earth, and God’s light will shine directly on his creation once again.
” And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:1-2
