Islam’s forbidden fruit
Yet another reason why Islam is stupid and should be rejected.
In the Old Testament God added many cultural rules to the Jewish legal code to preserve them as a distinct and separate people for himself apart from all the other people on planet earth.
“For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O LORD God.” 1 Kings 8:53.
Thus Jewish dietary restrictions are very complex and strict and they include a prohibition against eating swine’s flesh.
“And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.” Leviticus 11:7.
Because Gentiles do not keep the Jewish dietary restrictions, it made it impossible for Jews to eat a meal in fellowship with their Gentile neighbours - and that was exactly the reason why the code was enacted: To keep the Jews apart.
In fact, it is God’s design to keep all nations apart (Genesis 11) – and thus the mingling of people is prevented by our cultural food preferences.
Nevertheless, food matters only affect the body and they have no bearing on the spiritual reality of a person’s standing before God, as Jesus Christ said: “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.” Matthew 15:11.
His disciples were amazed at this teaching and thought it was only a parable because they were raised to observe the Jewish dietary restrictions. Jesus went on to explain:
“17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.” Matthew 15:17-20.
Notice how contrary this teaching is to Islam where a man pretends he is clean by washing his hands and avoiding the consumption of pigs! Yet while the Moslem fool is messing around with ablutions and “halal” food nonsense – he remains guilty before God of the most infamous sin of rejecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:4; Hebrews 10:29; Mark 3:29).
Observing the dietary restrictions of the Old Testament therefore have absolutely no bearing on one’s right standing with God since the gospel now extends beyond the Jews, it goes to all people of every nation on planet earth no matter what food they eat in their culture.
The apostle Peter received a heavenly vision that confirmed this fact:
“11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.”
Along comes an Arab nutcase half-a-millennia later who rejects what the Bible says!
Five hundred (that’s 500!) years later a mad Arab sat in a cave and listened to ghost who told him that God wanted him to avoid eating pork. What utter nonsense! What a blasphemous heresy! What unmitigated stupidity – the man was deluded and had no idea in the world how to get right with God.
He was a fool who rejected the truth revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
Paul warned the Church that fools like Mohamed would come along:
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” 1 Timothy 4:3.
So who is a man to believe: the Lord Jesus Christ, the Apostle Peter, and Saint Paul …
… or a fornicating lunatic 500 years later who was howling about ghosts he heard in a cave ?
A sane man doesn’t need to think about that question for 2 seconds before answering it correctly.
The Bible says, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17.
Islam has nothing to do with righteousness – you can lie, steal, and kill and be an excellent moslem. Or with peace – all moslems hate not only all Christians and Jews, but everybody else in the world, including their fellow moslems who they call apostates, heretics, fanatics, hypocrites, etc. And it certainly has nothing to do with joy – there is no such thing as a moslem hymnal.
So instead of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost – the moslems try to pretend they are right with God by meat and drink: by avoiding pigs and alcohol.
You foolish Mohamadians! You are all going straight into the hell-fire because God sees right through your phoniness. Your outward piety is no cover.
”Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Hebrews 4:13.
“In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.” Romans 2:16.
REPENT TODAY AND REJECT ISLAM.
