ALERT THE NEWS MEDIA!!!
We now have the eye-witness testimony of a Harvard educated archaeologist confirming the Noah’s Ark Find !!
I wrote to Dr. Klenck a few days ago to get a clarification of the November 18, 2011 news release by Paleontological Research Corporation that was simply entitled, “New Support for Alleged Noah’s Ark Discovery.”
In the news release it says, “Dr. Joel Klenck, surveyed the site, analyzed the archaeological remains and completed a comparative study.“
Perhaps I was not alone in wondering what exactly this meant – how did he survey the site? Did he review photographs and video? Or did he actually climb up the mountain and personally witness the structure for himself?
I wrote Dr. Klenck and asked, “Your recent press‐release states you “surveyed” the site. Does this mean you _personally _visited the location?“
Dr. Klenck’s response: “Yes” and he added, “The site is a remarkable archaeological discovery.“
What a tremendous understatement by Dr. Klenck! What he is confirming is not just the find of the century, but the find of the millennium !!
In April of 2010 Hong Kong based Noah’s Ark Ministries International (“NAMI”) announced that they found Noah’s Ark on Mount Ararat with the help of Turkish guides. Since that day the NAMI team has been under intense criticism by the sceptics, and had their credibility attacked by competing Noah’s Ark hunters who claim their find is a hoax.
The competing ark hunters dismissed the eye-witness testimony of NAMI mountaineers and set forth instead various doubts that they claim undermine the find’s credibility. In particular, they claim the Turkish guide used by the team was dishonest and that he most probably built a wooden structure on the mountain as a “movie set” to fool the unsuspecting Chinese. These hoax claims – despite lack of direct substantiation – have been accepted by many doubters. Others are cautiously taking a “wait and see” approach to the NAMI find.
Unfortunately, the Chinese team was poorly equipped to respond to the attacks, especially due to the language barrier. Most of their team only speaks Chinese – and their website only has a limited English section. To NAMI’s credit they were not provoked to respond back to their critics with similar unkind remarks. Team members, such as Panda Lee, responded to the attacks by repeating their eyewitness testimony in a series of video responses.
Nevertheless NAMI maintained the confidentiality of the site location – undoubtedly a wise decision considering the sensitivity of the site. Additional confirmation has been slow. NAMI recently come out with a film called “Days of Noah Apocalypse” which they have screened at three evangelical crusades in Sydney, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The film claims to present more ark evidence and promises to “ignite a controversy.” Film-goers are giving it excellent reviews.
Despite these developments, the world has been waiting for an accredited Western archaeologist to examine the NAMI claims first-hand and confirm whether or not the find is genuine. It appears that that wait is now over.
To address the hoax claims I asked Dr. Klenck about the accessibility of the site to heavy machinery. I asked, “can you confirm the location is inaccessible and showed no signs of heavy machinery having disturbed the vicinity?”
Dr. Klenck replied: “Completely inaccessible to machinery and mostly inaccessible to human climbers. No signs of machinery.“
By confirming that the site is inaccessible to machinery, Dr. Klenck clearly rules out a hoax having been perpetrated. A Turkish tour guide, no matter how crafty, would not be able to build a huge wooden “movie set” at an elevation of 12,000-ft by hand – and then fool a Harvard trained archaeologist.
It appears that the wording of the November press release failed to convey the great significance of what has now occurred because this should have been front page news. The previous eye-witness testimony of the Hong Kong expedition team – which had been called into doubt – has now been confirmed by the eyewitness testimony of a credible scientist.
Dr. Klenck himself has seen the large wooded structure on the top of Mount Ararat, and it contains within it many undisturbed artefacts which date from the late stone age. Those artefacts include basalt bowls, stone cores (i.e., tool making moulds), debitage (i.e., rock chippings), a wide array of plant materials, a floor covered by chickpea seeds, flax rope, pieces of fabric, bone artefacts, and leather bowls with flaps and collars made of bone or wood.
This is amazing! Eyewitness testimony has confirmed that after a 4,360 year wait, —
We have finally found Noah’s Ark!
“And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.” Genesis 8:4.
